here’s everything you need to know before booking:
My dog isn’t perfectly trained. Can we still do photos?
Absolutely! Our sessions are stress-free and flexible — we work with your pet’s personality and pace to make sure they feel happy and comfortable. We will take our time to make it work, with breaks in between.
Does my dog have to be off-leash?
Nope! Most photos are taken with leashes off, but some with leashes off — we remove them during editing. Safety always comes first. Especially if there are multiple pets around.
What if my pet is shy or nervous?
As proud pet parents ourselves, we’re great at making pets feel safe. With patience, treats, and calm energy, even the most timid pets warm up fast. Let us know beforehand of any behavioral issues or things we should know about, though.
Where and when do you hold sessions?
We travel to your home or a chosen outdoor spot for cozy, personalized shoots. We bring our own backdrops and lighting setups (if necessary), and ask that you provide us with photos of where you’re planning on setting up in your home so we can adequately prepare. During the holiday rush, we also host studio pop-ups in select cities — these are shorter, themed sessions at a reduced rate.
What are studio pop-ups?
They’re limited-time festive setups with quick-turnaround photos and card-ready images. Ideal for families who want professional results fast, and at discounted rates.
Can I be in the photos too?
Of course! You and your furry best friend are a package deal. Just let us know during booking so we can prep for a few cozy, candid moments. As human’s require more retouching than dogs, we do add on a fee for each person included.
How far do you travel outside Los Angeles?
We serve Greater L.A., the High Desert, the OC, and surrounding areas. Travel fees may apply for longer drives — but we love a road trip!
